Vietnam

Max Chin, Digital Optimist Vietnam – Distributor of BOH Products in Vietnam

“With BOH’s long history and deep roots in Malaysia’s tea industry, the authentic ‘Teh Tarik’ and various high-quality tea products from Cameron Highlands are exported to Vietnam via our company exclusively. It is well-liked by many Vietnamese for its unique, natural and authentic taste.”

Denmark

Mette Svanberg, Kimber Foods- Distributor of BOH Products in Denmark

“Our partnership with BOH Plantation dates back to 2009, offering us a unique vantage point into their entire operation. We’ve learned everything from the journey of a Camellia Sinensis seed to the intricate process of packing the finished tea.

Beyond the tea itself, BOH’s dedication to a better world has been equally inspiring. This commitment begins with their own team; a loyal and well-treated workforce. Whether a tea plucker or a tea taster, every BOH employee receives fair treatment and is considered an essential part of the larger BOH family. They benefit from health check-ups and those with families receive crucial support with schools and kindergartens for their children. Even the indigenous Orang Asli people, who reside near the plantation, work there and have access to education for their children.

Ultimately, this profound commitment to ethical and sustainable practices enhances the very taste of the tea. The strong collaboration between BOH and Kimber Foods resonates deeply with our Scandinavian customers. In an era where fair labour for tea workers, respect for wildlife, and environmental solutions are increasingly prioritised, BOH’s story is truly exceptional. We even have customers who have cherished BOH tea since 1950, a testament to the enduring quality of tea from BOH’s gardens.”

Malaysia

Dr. Dzaeman Dzulkifli, Executive Director,
Tropical Rainforest Conservation and Research Centre

“TRCRC together with BOH have been in collaboration for a few years now. Reaching out to the public and engaging new people who are unaware of their impact and the services nature plays is key. As a conservationist we often find ourselves engaging and communicating our mission to the converted. Missing out on an entire segment of society who are unaware. Linking with Boh has given us the chance and the platform to bring our message to a wider community and we thank you for the support.”

Nagarajan Rengasamy, Manager
Forests and Coastal Programme, Global Environment Centre Malaysia

“Working with BOH has been an exceptional partnership rooted in shared sustainability values. Their commitment to responsible tea cultivation aligns perfectly with our conservation mission at GEC. Through BOH’s generous support, we have strengthened our peat swamp forest rehabilitation programme in Kuala Langat North Forest Reserve, which is located adjacent to BOH Plantations Bukit Cheeding. We have also empowered the Temuan indigenous community through our Sahabat Gambut Asli Temuan (SGAT) programme. Every cup of BOH tea represents a shared vision for environmental stewardship and a sustainable future for Malaysia.”

Nazrul Hazim Suleiman, Green Education Programme Advocate
Green Growth Asia Foundation

“Working with BOH has been a great experience. We share the same goal-to build a more sustainable future by educating and inspiring young people. With BOH’s support, we’ve been able to bring sustainability messages into classrooms and help students turn what they learn into real action. It’s a meaningful partnership that we’re truly proud of.”

James Chang, Managing Director
Scientex Packaging Group – Packaging Supplier for BOH Plantations Sdn. Bhd.

BOH Partners with Scientex to Advance Sustainable Packaging for its Tea Products.

“BOH is collaborating with Scientex, a flexible packaging converter, to enhance the sustainability of its tea product packaging and support circular economy principles. BOH’s packaging for its product range is designed to be sustainable with the aim of minimising carbon footprint whilst maintaining product functionality, durability, protection and aesthetic/visual appeal. Through this partnership with Scientex, BOH has transitioned the packaging of several tea products to more sustainable options: Fast-moving teas like Cameron Highlands Tea Leaves and Potbags are now packed in recyclable polypropylene (PP) pouches that maintain strong product protection. Teabags feature sealed sachets designed to encourage consumer recycling. Instant Tea Mixes (e.g.: Teh Tarik Kurang Manis Original, Green Tea Latte) have transitioned to sustainable pouch materials. Additionally, BOH is working with Scientex to transition the BOH Instant Tea Mix stick pack format to a sustainable material structure. These initiatives align with BOH’s broader objective of being a sustainable tea producer.”
